Here are the teaser trailers for the upcoming ABS-CBN show, SINESERYE Presents… Palimos ng Pag-ibig with Kristine Hermosa, Rica Peralejo and Diether Ocampo playing the roles of Dina Bonnevie, Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano respectively.
PBB Season 2 Premieres on February 25
SA February 25, 9:30 p.m., na sisimulan ang bagong season ng reality contest na Pinoy Big Brother ng ABS-CBN, ang local franchise kung saan nakilala ang mga housemate na gaya nina Sam Milby, Uma Khouny, Cass Ponti, Say Alonzo atbp.
Sinisiguro ng tagapamahala nitong si Direk Lauren Dyogi na maraming pagbabagong magaganap para maging equally interesting ang programa tulad ng nakalipas na mga edisyon (PBB 1, PBB Celebrity Edition at PBB Teen Edition). Pero top secret pa raw ang lahat dahil sorpresa nga sa viewers ang karamihan sa changes na ito.
Sa ginanap na PBB 2 launch kahapon, ang tanging ikinuwento ni Direk Lauren ay ang pagiging mas malaki ng Bahay ni Kuya, na bawal pang silipin o bisitahin sa ngayon, at ang participation ng manonood sa pagpili ng 14 housemates na papasok at titira sa PBB house hanggang June 30.
Mas masusi raw ang ginawang selection process at dahil tatamaan ng 18-week run ang Holy Week sa unang linggo ng Abril, magkakaroon ng Holy Week edition ang PBB 2 sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya.
Bukod dito, mas matitindi ang tasks na haharapin ng housemates at mas mahigpit ang house rules. In short, masusubukan talaga ang disiplina at katatagan ng labing-apat na kalahok.
Si Toni Gonzaga pa rin ang host ng PBB 2, at sasamahan siya ni Mariel Rodriguez sa Uplate at Bianca Gonzalez para sa Update.
Magkakaroon din ng sariling segment ang PBB 1 product na si Jayson Gainza. Si Asia Agcaoili at ang Bossa Queen sa si Sitti naman ang gabi-gabing makakasama sa PBB sa Studio 23.
Samantala, isang magarbong opening ang gaganapin sa concert hall sa tabi ng Bahay ni Kuya, sa Feb. 25

Last Wednesday (February 7) ay nakipag-meeting ang aktor kay Ms. Cory Vidanes for possible projects at welcome naman daw siyang hinarap ng executive ng nasabing network.
“Marami kasing plano for Echo, e, siya lang naman ang kumawala di ba? Gusto raw niyang maging musician kaya lie-low muna siya sa acting, e, di sige. Ngayon naghahanap na siya ng projects? Bakit sawa na siya sa pagiging musician niya?” pahayag sa amin na singer pala ang ibig tukuyin ng bossing.
Marahil ay naramdaman na ni Jericho ang hirap ng buhay ngayong nawalan siya ng tv at movie projects dahil aminin man niya o hindi ay mas malaki pa rin ang kinikita kapag umaarte siya mas malaki ang exposure kesa sa pakanta-kanta siya gabi-gabi sa kung saan-saang lugar na hindi naman kalakihan ang bayad dahil hindi naman sila ganu’n kasikat na banda.
Anyway, maraming soap dramang bubuksan ngayon ang ABS-CBN at posibleng sa isa ron ay masama ang aktor lalo na sa bagong project ngayon na sine-series na ang pilot episode nila ay Palimos Ng Pag-Ibig na pangtapat naman sa Sinasamba Kita ng GMA-7 which stars Iza Calzado.

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao won by KO in the third round of his final
battle with Mexico’s Erik “El Terrible” Morales. Pacquiao knocked his
opponent thrice before an eighteen thousand strong crowd at the
Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacman remains the World
Boxing Council (WBC) International Super Featherweight Champion.

has made every Pinoy around the world proud, including President
Gloria Arroyo who said that Manny continues to be the country’s hero
and the bearer of the Filipino dream. Manila City too, is preparing a
grandiose welcome for the boxing hero. Manny could not thank every
one who prayed and cheered for him enough. He can’t wait to return
home and share his win with his kababayans. He’s also excited to see
his daughter, Mary Divine Grace, for the very first time.

The journey in solving the greatest mysteries
of life begins on the first day of school.
Brainy Indi (Kim), MVP MJ2 (Gerald), Sosy Pré (Maja), Rebel Gael (Geoff) and Nice Guy Nathan (Jason) are college freshmen who enter FDH University without knowing what college life will bring them.
Anxious, excited and scared all at the same
time, the five of them make seemingly ordinary, harmless decisions on their first day in school. Unbeknownst to them, these little decisions will eventually set the way they are going to be from that day on and will lead them to where they are right now – in the middle of an investigation on what is known as B.W.A.C.A. or Basketball Water Contamination Accident.
Considered to be the greatest mystery the university has ever encountered, the entire basketball team suddenly started acting funny and collapsing in the middle of the opening game. Not knowing what is happening, the students and other spectators erupt into a riot which brings the game into a halt. With the threat of forfeiting their chances in this year’s season looming, the school chairman and the coach hire the best investigator to solve the case. Initial investigation shows that the water drank by the players during the game was contaminated by a mysterious substance. But the more surprising finding was that the culprit is from the same school!
Who is responsible for all this?!
Is it Brainy Indi who by denying her growing love for MJ2 ends up heartbroken and formulated the anti-love potion thinking that it can “cure” her heartache?
Is it MVP MJ2 who never wanted the pressure that came along from being the next big superstar and from being the current MVP’s brother?
Is it Nice Guy Nathan who was the team’s water boy during that game?
Is it Sosy Pré who would do anything to become part of the most popular sorority even if it means running half-naked and being humiliated in front of the whole student body?
Or is it Rebel Gael who is willing to do anything to avoid seeking his father’s help to the point of dealing with a syndicate just to get the amount he needs to mount his art exhibit?
In the end, it is not only the mystery during the basketball game which was solved but more importantly, the five freshmen begin to solve the greater mysteries in their young lives – family, love and friendship.
To be young and young at heart means celebrating life, as it will never ever be as enjoyable; a moment so fleetingly ecstatic and precious that can’t compare with anything that comes after – like the first time, that first experience, that first taste, that first sound, that first touch.
It’s one cool trip we all are privileged to make and destined to forever remember –it’s that First Day High!
In this year’s youth-oriented movie flick “First Day High,” all the thrill and familiar adventures, or misadventures, associated with campus life is captured on screen and shared by five young teens identified as Brainy High, MVP High, Sosy High, Rebel High, and Nice Guy High.
The Kamikazee band’s chart-busting hit single titled “First Day High” that has been enjoying a lot of airplay due to thousands of requests, initially introduced these five icons of youth. “There’s no campus without all of these five characters,” says Mel Mendoza del Rosario, Project Consultant, adding that each campus is always made up of these personalities!
In the movie, directed by Mario Cornejo for Star Cinema, cast in the roles of the five character types are led by young stars Geoff Eigenmann as Rebel Gael, Maja Salvador as Sosy Pre, Kim Chiu as Brainy Indi, Geral Anderson as MVP MJ2, and Jason Abalos as Nice Guy Nathan.
All five are college freshmen who are initially clueless as to what college life has in store for them. Anxious, excited and scared all at the same time, the five make seemingly ordinary, harmless decisions on their first day in school. These little decisions eventually set the way they are going to be from that day on and leads them right smack into the middle of an intriguingly captivating campus mystery.
The resolution brings into focus the greater mysteries in their young lives that involve family, love and friendship.
“First Day High” is touted to be Star Cinema’s unprecedented box-office hit in the youth-oriented movie genre. Following Star Cinema’s tradition in bringing to the big screen youth movies like “Jologs” and “Trip” that ruled the box-office, “First Day High” is expected to be the year’s movie block buster!
With the popular hit song of Kamikazee Band for inspiration, First Day High is the much-awaited big youth movie of the season. It’s nationwide theatrical release is set for September 27.

Regal Films : “Eternity”
Regal Entertainment brings to the screen “Eternity,” a big-budget epic love story that’s set to mesmerize and enchant moviegoers. (Click on image to view in higher resolution)
This movie, which stars the very popular love team of Mark Herras and Jennylyn Mercado and talented young superstars Iza Calzado and Dingdong Dantes, tells of the great love between Crisanto (played by Dingdong) and Milagros (Iza) who are reincarnated in Maegan (Jennylyn) and Cholo (Mark). Crisanto and Milagros, lovers during the Spanish era, are kept apart by their warring families. Maegan and Cholo, who are set to experience the same hardship, must do something to reverse the curse. Also in the cast are Bobby Andrews Jaclyn Jose, and Hilda Koronel.
“Eternity” will take the viewer from the nostalgic Spanish period to the upbeat and vibrant new millennium. Plenty of the scenes will be shot in rustic Vigan, Ilocos Sur. Regal has heavily invested in historical research and design to give the movie an authentic Spanish colonial feel. Sets have been built especially for the crucial scenes where the past and the present magically intertwine. (Showing on September 6).
